Sennelier Artists' Extra Fine Oil Paint

Today the descendants of Gustave Sennelier still create their extraordinarily luscious colors from the finest hand-ground pigments combined with pure, first-press non-yellowing safflower oils. They produce an outstanding collection of oils distinguished by a "satin" finish and buttery feel. The paints still entrance artists, just as they did when pioneers such as Paul Cézanne and Camille Pissaro first used them. Many colors are exclusive to Sennelier, including Chinese Orange, Sennelier Transparent Brown, a range of semi-opaque Mars colors, transparent Alizarins, and the unusual Cinnabar and Cobalt Greens. Their Titanium White is considered to be the most opaque Titanium White ever made. Every one of these colors is remarkably rich, vivid, and responsive, as only a Sennelier oil can be.

These economically priced, genuine oil colors clean up with soap and water, and with five non-hazardous mediums, you can achieve all the traditional oil painting techniques and styles. Note: The 120 ml tube size has been discontinued. For your convenience, we now offer the economical 200 ml size. This beginners set includes 6 colors in 1.25 oz (37 ml) tubes, including one each of Cadmium Yellow Pale Hue, Permanent Alizarin Crimson, French Ultramarine, Phthalo Green (Blue Shade), Yellow Ochre, and Titanium White.

Use Artists' Oilbar to draw directly onto canvas and other surfaces with wet oil color. Working with Oilbar is expressive and immediate. Nothing comes between the artist and the surface, not even a brush. Oilbar is an artists' quality range of oil color in solid, stick form. The 35 colors are made by combining pigment, oil, and a blend of specially selected waxes. Each pigment has the same permanence rating as equivalent colors in Winsor & Newton's Artists' and Winton oil color lines. To work with Oilbar, wipe away the thin surface film which forms on drying. Underneath is fresh, clean oil color ready for use. It softens and flows as pressure is applied to the bar.

Daler-Rowney Oils

Finally, a student grade oil paint at a truly affordable price! Excellent for the beginning artist, Daler-Rowney Oils are made from high quality pigments and are very lightfast. Their full-bodied , buttery consistency brushes out well and holds brush marks — perfect for impasto application. Quick-drying properties make these paints perfect for teaching oil painting techniques in classroom settings where time and space are at a premium. Contains 10 basic colors in 38 ml (1.3 oz) tubes.
